At Syston Bowling Club, County and Club Coach, Des Eggitt is shown in a regular coaching session with Terry Harrison, who is blind and his nephew, Bob Harrison, who has serious mobility problems. With the aid of a string running down the centre of the rink, and a hand bell, to give the playeran indication of direction and distance to the jack, the blind and visually impaired can be enabled to participate in and enjoy the game.
